How To Add Existing Fields in OnContact CRM

In the CRM training video below, we will go over how to add an existing header field to a main screen. Please note that this feature is only available to OnContact CRM administrator users.

Welcome to OnContact CRM training. In this video we will add an existing header field to a main screen.The main screens in OnContact CRM are company, contact, incident and opportunity. Note this feature is only available to CRM administrators.

For this video we will add the last activity date field to the company main screen. The process is identical for contact, incident and opportunity main screens. To start in the work space area:

  1. Open any company record.
  2. On the upper right corner of the company screen click the options button.
  3. Click select columns from the drop-down and the form layout dialog will open.
  4. Click select columns on the left-hand side of the form layout dialog and expand the company column lists.
  5. Click the last activity date column.
  6. This will place the column on the company main screen.
  7. Drag and drop the column to the desired location.
  8. Click OK to save your changes and close the form layout dialog.

You will see your changes immediately, other users will have to log out of on contact and log back in to see the changes.
